Volunteer Opportunities

North Broad Renaissance is an information highway between businesses, organizations, civic groups and community members who are engaged in the life and economy of the North Broad Corridor. In order to be a driver of growth, information, and revitalization, North Broad Renaissance relies on volunteers. The following are suggested ways to get involved. Or feel free to make suggestions on other skills and gifts you hope to contribute to the community.

Special Events

Greeters, setup, cleanup, pre-event planning

Community Cleanup Days

Participate in helping to keep the community clean and safe.

Community Outreach

Visit businesses to let them know what to expect and how to get involved

Office Support

Stuffing envelopes, assembling folders, filing, making phone calls, etc.

Marketing & Communications

Assist with planning and executing marketing campaigns including but not limited to writing for various media platforms, graphic design, and assisting with strategy.

Economic Development

Conduct studies and gather relevant statistical and demographic information to support the work of business and economic development along the corridor.

Fundraising & Development

Write correspondence, database management and reporting, engagement and education of local business owners, creation of marketing materials, grant writing, event planning and execution, as well as other tasks related to fundraising.
