North Broad Renaissance

The North Broad Renaissance is looking for creative and talented individuals to join our Content
Creator Intern Program. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about creating fresh content and are
skilled in shooting and editing photos and/or video.
The internship start date is March 25, 2024, through May 10, 2024. This is a 20 hour per-week
internship.

North Broad Renaissance is a nationally recognized, growing non-profit that currently manages
both the North Broad Business Improvement and North Broad Special Service District. The
organization is doing the important work of vitalizing North Broad Street by improving its
economic vitality and overall quality of life. Our work around cleaning, greening, safety, business
attraction, business retention, and employment is directly impacting more than 50,000
residents, in eight neighborhoods, and helping to increase the median income in the district. The
NBR is a relatively small organization, so an entrepreneurial spirit and self-discipline gets you far
in our book.

This will be a hands-on program that provides interns the chance to gain experience in their field
of photography/video for the North Broad Renaissance (NBR) digital and social media platforms
and with NBR publications and marketing materials, which supports the NBR Marketing and
Communications program.

Primary Responsibilities:
● Create and publish high-quality content, including photos, graphics, videos, and articles,
for our social media platforms, website, and other promotional materials.
● Develop engaging multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and written articles
that resonate with North Broad stakeholders and donors.
● Edit and produce videos, ensuring a professional and compelling presentation.
● Maintain a content calendar and adhere to posting schedules.
● Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with our brand and objectives.
● Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative content ideas.
● Assist in digital marketing efforts, including social media campaigns and content
promotion.

Qualifications and Experience:
● 2 years of photography and/or video experience, preferred
● Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite and Photo Mechanic preferred
● Experience with digital asset management, including meta-data tagging and
management, preferred
● Ability to work in an outdoor corridor setting, including nights and weekends as needed
● Strong communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues,
external partners and the public
● Ability to work in a small non-profit environment in a professional manner
● Strong understanding of social media landscape and how to capture engaging content
for specific platforms
