Just as important as implementation is ongoing maintenance and improvements. The need for maintenance of open and green spaces is a trending request from neighborhoods across Philadelphia. This is why the NBR was sure to include this in our next five year plan.

Maintaining Planting Bed
The NBR works to keep the planting beds along North Broad Street vibrant during the landscaping season, and clean during the winter months. Every year, we aim to make North Broad better and greener!
Broader Green: Earth Month Service Project
This is North Broad’s annual service project where the NBR in partnership with local organizations comes together to kick off the maintenance and landscaping season and bring awareness to the importance of green space in urban communities.
