North Broad Renaissance is a non-profit organization that supports vitalization efforts along North Broad Street between the boundaries of Butler Street to City Hall. In partnership with community stakeholders, NBR will continue to revitalize the community, create opportunities, and improve the economic power and overall quality of life along one of Philadelphia’s most prominent corridors – North Broad Street. North Broad Renaissance understands that a vibrant corridor creates possibilities for the entire community. It creates safe places to work and play, booming businesses, employment opportunities, and innovation that inspires the entire region.

Maintenance, Landscaping and Capital Improvements
Just as important as implementation is ongoing maintenance and improvements. The need for maintenance of open and green spaces is a trending request from neighborhoods across Philadelphia. This is why the NBR was sure to include this in our next five-year plan.
Marketing & Communications

Hospitality and Safety
The North Broad Renaissance is creating a layered approach to hospitality and safety, recognizing that the two go hand and hand. It includes implementing focused programming that will enhance safety and address the issues of mental illness, trauma, and homelessness, all while ensuring we provide a friendly and welcoming environment for the North Broad community.
North Broad Business Improvement District
The North Broad Business Improvement District will now allow North Broad to sustain and enhance its revitalization efforts. The corridor now has a reliable source of funding to support services and programs and could help us compete with other nearby districts. Overall, we are all working together to create a cleaner, safer, and more vibrant North Broad Street.
