John Fry Appointed to North Broad Renaissance Board of Directors

Philadelphia, PA – January 28,2025 – North Broad Renaissance (NBR), the non-profit organization focused on revitalizing the North Broad Street corridor, is pleased to announce the unanimous appointment of John Fry to its Board of Directors. Fry, a recognized leader in education, urban development, and civic engagement, brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to community revitalization to the Board.

Previously serving as president of Drexel University, Fry has been a transformative figure in Philadelphia, spearheading urban development projects that have reshaped neighborhoods and fostered greater economic opportunity. As Temple University’s 15th president, Fry continues to champion efforts that connect higher education with community development, making him a natural fit for NBR’s mission of revitalizing North Broad Street and supporting the local community.
